Tacoma Front Diff Drop Kit, 1995-2004
Lifting a first-generation Tacoma, Tundra, or 4Runner increases the angles on the CV joints and boots, which accelerates wear. These one inch thick solid aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum spacersand zinc-plated Grade 8 hardware move the front differential down an inch andchanges the CV angles back to where they should be. We even provide aluminum spacers and longer zinc-plated Class 8.8 bolts to move the stock skidplate down.
Note: Before ordering, support the frontdifferential with a jack, remove the (2) vertical differential mounting bracketbolts, and lower the differential until there is a 1" gap between the frame andthe rubber bushing. Verify that the differential support brackets willclear all components.
